Ton Notermans – Secretary and Privacy Professional

My name is Ton Notermans , born in 1956 in Heerlen. I am married to Marielle and proud grandfather of five grandchildren. With our two children, this family forms the warm basis of my life.

A career full of experience and innovation

Between 1979 and 2022 I have used my expertise as a technical business and privacy professional. I worked for Philips, DSM, KPN, Xillion and Stepco , among others. My focus was on ICT and product development , where I gained extensive experience in complex technological environments.

In addition to my work, I am active in several foundations. Music is an important passion. As an organist, I am connected to several churches and I organize organ concerts annually together with others. Photography and ICT also take a central place in my life.

My involvement with the Heinz Foundation

My first acquaintance with Stichting Heinz Bijzondere Vakantiereizen came from an ICT assignment. Soon after, Heinz requested me to join the board. Since then, I have fulfilled the role of secretary and am responsible for privacy matters within the foundation.

Volunteer with heart and soul

After my board position, I also went on a trip as a volunteer. That experience only strengthened my involvement. It gives me energy to see how we can really mean something to our guests with attention and time. Despite the intensity of such a week, I always return with a head full of beautiful memories and a heart full of gratitude.

Daily tasks and support

Together with Heinz and Els I take on the daily organization of the trips. Think of:

  • Finding new accommodations
  • Analyzing registration forms and processes
  • Designing Christmas cards, among other things
  • Technical support in the field of ICT

Where necessary, I step in. My role is flexible, but always focused on supporting the team and improving our services.

With passion and dedication for our guests

My ambition is clear: to allow people in need of care to continue to enjoy pleasant, safe and well-organised holidays for many years to come.
I look forward to meeting you in person on one of our trips.

Yours sincerely,
Ton Notermans
